Smarter sniping.
Gain in money
Every deal now shows what you'd make in your own currency and in keys. Set “Gain at least” to hide small deals, or sort by “Biggest gain (money)”: a 2% deal on an expensive hat can beat 30% on a cheap one.
Your own alerts
Press 🔔 My alerts (or ☆ on a deal) to choose what pings you: a hat, an effect, a top price, a minimum % or a minimum gain, like “Burning Flames, at least $30”. Standard gets 3 alerts, Premium 25, and push notifications follow them too.
Confidence rating
High, Medium or Low on every deal, with the reasons when you hover or tap it.
How often it changes hands
Each deal shows how many of the same hat and effect left the Steam market in the last 30 days, and their typical price.
How to snipe
A new step-by-step guide in the menu: reading a deal, checking it, buying, the trade hold and selling.

Standard is $8.99 and Premium $12.99 a month during our launch campaign. Prices go up when the campaign ends.

Clearer prices
Listings priced above their value now show how far above, and spell names are part of Premium.
Contact replies on the site
Answers to your messages now show up on the Contact page, with a badge in the header when there's a new one.
Push notifications (Premium)
Tap 📲 at the top to get new deals on your phone or computer, even when SteamSnipe is closed. On iPhone, add SteamSnipe to your Home Screen first (Share → Add to Home Screen).
Values from backpack.tf's suggested price
Deals are now judged against backpack.tf's suggested price by default, because buy orders are often lowballs. Old prices are still marked STALE. A buy order is used when it pays more. Tick “Buy order only” to compare every hat with its best buy order instead.
Troll filter
Deals that look off, like a 5,000-key backpack.tf listing on an ordinary hat, get a 🧌 Possible troll tag. Tick “Hide possible trolls” to leave them out.
Item types and a median value
Filter the deals by item type: hats, taunts, taunt unusualifiers, war paints or weapons. The new “Value” menu compares every hat with its suggested price, the best buy order, or the median between buy and sell orders.
Faster pages
The site now loads noticeably faster, especially on phones, and nothing jumps around while it loads.
SteamSnipe milestones
Under the plans: what every subscriber unlocks together, starting with faster scanning and Dota 2.
What's new?
Market data on every hat (Premium)
Click any hat to open its own page: buy orders per effect, how fast it sells, new listings per day and the best buy order over time.
Recently sniped
See the deals SteamSnipe found that are already gone from the market, now also right on the front page.
Contact form
Send a suggestion, bug report, key payment request or question straight from the site, and read our answer right there on the Contact page.
Menu and FAQ
A new menu reaches every page, and the FAQ answers the common questions about prices, plans and safety.
A fresh look
The site now matches the SteamSnipe brand: bolder titles, gold for Premium and for the very best deals, and a crosshair that locks on when a new deal appears.
Live backpack.tf prices
Watch backpack.tf buy orders and listings update live, right next to the hat being scanned on Steam.
Faster scanning
Smarter pacing means every hat on the market gets checked more often, so deals show up sooner.
Plans up front
Plans now sit at the top of the page. Once you subscribe they fold away into a single line.
Better on phones
Cleaner layout on small screens, with nothing spilling off the edge.
Live checks tell you what they found
Premium's ↻ Live button now reports the best buy order it found, or tells you when backpack.tf is busy.
SteamSnipe is now a website.
From Discord bot to website
Every deal in one place, sorted and filterable. Log in with Discord; we only ever see your username.
Values from real buy orders
Deals are judged against the best backpack.tf buy order for that exact effect and hat: what someone will actually pay. With no buy order we fall back to the suggested price and mark it STALE when it's old.
Spell-aware prices
A spelled hat can use a buy order for that same spell when it pays more, and the listing tells you so.
Plans
Free, Standard and Premium. Pay by card, or in TF2 keys.
Alerts and currencies
Sound and desktop alerts for new deals (Standard and up), and prices in your own currency.
Where it started.
New price indicators
Channels that priced deals from different values, such as the suggested value and buy orders.
Reduced spell confusion
When a price came from a spelled item on backpack.tf, the ping said so.
