Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
1. Who we are
SteamSnipe ("we", "us") is run by a private individual based in Sweden. You can reach us on Discord at @wilgotwall. These terms apply to your use of steamsnipe.com and its plans (the "Service").
2. What the Service is
SteamSnipe watches public listings on the Steam Community Market and compares them with prices on backpack.tf, then shows listings that may be priced below their value. It is an information tool only:
- We do not sell, buy, hold or transfer any game items, keys or Steam Wallet funds, and we never trade on your behalf.
- Prices, valuations and "deals" are estimates based on third-party data that can be wrong, stale or change at any moment. Listings may already be sold when you see them.
- Nothing on the Service is financial or investment advice. You decide what to buy, and you do so at your own risk.
- Items bought on the Steam Community Market are subject to Valve's rules, including trade holds.
SteamSnipe is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve Corporation, Steam or backpack.tf. Team Fortress 2 and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation.
3. Accounts
You sign in with Discord. You must be at least 16 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian. Keep your Discord account secure: you're responsible for activity on your SteamSnipe account. Accounts are personal. Don't share access, resell the Service's data, or try to bypass plan limits, scrape the Service, or disrupt it. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
4. Plans and payment
- Free: limited, delayed preview. Standard and Premium: monthly subscriptions with the features described on the website. Prices are shown in USD, and applicable taxes (such as VAT) are added at checkout.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for card and PayPal payments.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Manage subscription on the website or via Paddle's receipt email. After cancelling, you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- You can also pay in TF2 keys by arrangement with us on Discord. Key payments are made directly to us, and access runs for the period we agree on.
- We may change prices. Changes apply from your next billing period, and we'll tell you before they take effect.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a new subscription. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.
6. Availability
The Service depends on Steam, backpack.tf and other third parties, which can change, limit or block access at any time. We aim to keep SteamSnipe running and accurate, but we can't guarantee that it is always available, complete or error-free, and features may change. If a paid feature is unavailable for a long period, contact us and we'll make it right.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or decisions you make based on information shown on the Service, including trades or purchases. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Swedish or EU law.
8. Ending the Service
You can stop using SteamSnipe at any time. We may end the Service with 30 days' notice. If we do, we'll refund any paid time you can no longer use.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll show a notice on the website before it applies. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. If something goes wrong, please contact us first and we'll try to sort it out. As an EU consumer you can also contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, arn.se) or bring a claim in the courts of your home country.
